We’ve been receiving quite a bit of media attention lately (thanks sooo much, media people!), and to kick things off for 2012, you can catch me in action, making soap, on NTV7‘s The Breakfast Show between 8:30am and 10am on Monday, 30th January 2012. I haven’t seen the edited footage yet, so I’m not sure what to expect either–but thumbs up to Yon Lynn who conducted the interview, and her cameraman for holding his equipment for aaages while I prattled on and on about soapmaking in general. 🙂 Thanks guys.
I hope you’ll find the interview informative. Comments are most welcome!
The soap drought is over, hooray! 😀 Come and satisfy them soap cravings anytime. But as I’ll be prepping for our big family holiday in Krabi from Friday 27th till Monday the 30th of January, please know that I’ll work on your orders and start shipping the paid ones on Tuesday the 31st of January. Happy shopping!
I recently purchase a Canon Powershot S100 and I must say that it’s been a TONNE of fun using it. Reading the manual right at the start turned out to be extremely useful. :p
Apart from producing endless streams of photographs of our offspring, I have also used it to film some short videos of me at work. Here’s the most recent one:
I hope you found it interesting! It’s actually kinda nice to be able to show you around my office and give you a glimpse of what’s involved in making soap around here. In any case I’ll have to work harder to write more on this blog. :”> In the meantime, you can always hop over to our Facebook page where I am much more active with updates at the moment.
My first real attempt at making a proper video post. Perhaps this could be something you can do with the bits and scraps of soap that are too small for you to use in the shower anymore–put them to work on your countertops and on the floor!
Additional tip: enlist the help of your kids to clean your home this way. 😀
