Its potent antibacterial properties are a most welcome addition to my self-care kit and best of all, it doesn't seem to irritate my skin (after proper dilution).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cbr\u003e--\u003cbr\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eSuggested Uses\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\t\u003cli\u003eTo stop a particularly painful sore throat from turning into a full-blown cold, mix the following in 1 teaspoon of carrier oil (I prefer tamanu oil for its skin-soothing properties):\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\t\u003cli\u003e2 drops thyme essential oil (to kill off the bacteria)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\t\u003cli\u003e1 drop \u003ca title=\"Helichrysum\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kindersoaps.com\/product\/helichrysum\/\"\u003ehelichrysum essential oil \u003c\/a\u003e(to help soothe the pain)\n\u003cbr\u003eApply 4 drops of the mixture onto the neck, concentrating on the throat area (where it hurts), and behind the ears (where the lymph nodes are). Do this 3 times a day (morning, mid-afternoon and before going to bed) until the infection clears.
