Gentle Body Polish for Oily, Blemished Skin

Here’s a nice addition to your shower routine, if you’d like to get your skin to be exceptionally cuddly-soft and smooth in just 5 minutes flat.

This very mild, yet effective all-over body polish serves both as an exfoliant, and if allowed to dry for an additional 5 minutes, as a nourishing and detoxifying mask. It works well on the face too, especially if you’re prone to acne breakouts.

I use a base combination of ground organic oats and adzuki (red) beans together with french green clay to coax away dull skin and also draw out excess sebum and impurities from oily, blemished skin. Also in the mix is a blend of carrier and essential oils that leave your skin with an undeniably silky, soft finish after you rinse off with warm water.

How to use:

May be used on your body, face, and even the soles of your feet.

Best used after a shower and while your skin is still slightly damp.

Recommended amounts: for face, 1 teaspoon; for whole body, 1.5 tablespoons

Using a clean dry spoon, take the desired amount of body polish from the jar and mix it with a few drops of water. Gradually increase the amount of water until you end up with a fairly thick but easily spreadable paste. Gently massage the paste onto clean, damp skin while in the shower (don’t tug at your skin), then rinse off with warm water. You need not shower again after using the body polish.

Optional: let your body polish act as a nourishing, clarifying mask by allowing it to work on  your skin for 5-10 more minutes, before you rinse it off. The results are great, trust me on this!

You may wish to follow up with a moisturizer if you like.
